Warren County elections officials will begin counting absentee ballots from this week's election on Tuesday.

Absentee ballots for Lake George will be counted at 10 a.m., followed by ballots for Glens Falls 4th Ward, according to the county Board of Elections. Absentee ballots for the town of Queensbury will be counted beginning at 1 p.m.

At the end of balloting on Election Night, Lake George town supervisor candidates Frank McCoy and Dennis Dickinson were separated by eight votes, with McCoy leading. So absentee ballots could decide that race.

In the race for Fourth Ward county supervisor in Glens Falls, William Loeb was leading Daniel Bruno by just 10 votes at the end of balloting.

The race for some of the at-large county supervisor seats in Queensbury is also close enough to be decided by absentees.
