SARATOGA SPRINGS - Public health officials in Saratoga County have scheduled two new H1N1 vaccination clinics to be held next week.

Officials say they have quantities of both the nasally administered flu mist and the injectable variety that can be administered.

The mist, which carries a dose of the weakened virus, will be reserved for healthy people between the ages of 2- and 49 years old, health care workers, and healthy people up to age 49 who live with or care for an infant less than 6 months old, officials said.

The injectable vaccine, meanwhile, will be reserved for pregnant women, people who live with or care for an infant less than 6 months old and who can't get the mist, health care personnel, and anyone between the ages of 6 months and 24 years old.

Because there is still a limited supply, the clinics will only be open to the above priority groups, by appointment only.

The clinics are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 9, between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., and Friday, Nov. 13, between 9 a.m. and noon, and 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The clinics will be held at the Saratoga County Public Health center, 31 Woodlawn Ave., Saratoga Springs.
