This list includes Thursday's early closures and Friday's hour changes and closures:
Banks
Most banks, credit unions and the stock markets will be closed Thursday. Most area banks will be open with normal hours Friday.
The following credit unions will be closed Friday: Cooper's Cave Federal Credit in Glens Falls, Hudson River Credit Union in Glens Falls and Corinth, NMP Northern Area FCU in South Glens Falls and TCT Federal Credit Union in Glens Falls. Hudson River Credit Union in Glens Falls and Corinth will also be closed Saturday.
BusesGreater Glens Falls Transit buses will not operate Thursday.
Buses will run their normal routes Friday.
Government offices
Most government offices will be open closed Thursday and many will be closed Friday.
These town offices will be open Friday: Town of Queensbury, Stony Creek and Thurman. Also, Glens Falls City Hall, Warren County Municipal Center offices and Washington County offices will be open Friday.
Libraries
Crandall Public Library in Glens Falls and Saratoga Springs Public Library will be closed Thursday and will be open Friday with normal hours.
Malls and super stores
Aviation Mall in Queensbury and Wilton Mall will be closed Thursday. Aviation Mall will be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Wilton Mall will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday.
Wal-Mart in Queensbury and Wilton and Kmart Super Center in Queensbury will be open 24 hours Thursday and Friday.
Medical services
Most area medical providers including Wilton Medical Arts, Malta Medical Arts and all Hudson Headwaters Health Network locations will be closed Thursday. Malta Medical Arts and Wilton Medical Arts will be closed Friday but there will be a doctor on call.
Hudson Headwaters Health Center in Bolton will be closed Friday. Health centers at Chester-Horicon, Indian Lake and North Creek locations will be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Health Centers in Moreau and Schroon Lake will be open 8:30 to noon Friday. Moriah Health Center will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Ticonderoga Health Center will be open 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. Queensbury Family Health will be open 8 a.m. to noon Friday. Health Center at Broad Street will be open 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday and Warrensburg Health Center will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
Most other medical offices will be open Friday with normal hours.
Pharmacies
The following hours listed are for pharmacies only. Store hours may differ.
CVS pharmacies on Quaker Road in Queensbury will be open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday. CVS Pharmacies at 5 Main St. in Queensbury, on Dix Avenue in Kingsbury. in Greenwich and in Whitehall will be closed Thursday. Saratoga Springs CVS pharmacy will remain open 24 hours Thursday.
Rite Aid Pharmacy on Broad Street in Glens Falls is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday. Rite Aid pharmacies on Ridge Street in Glens Falls, in Hudson Falls, on Quaker Road in Queensbury, in South Glens Falls, on Ballston Avenue in Saratoga Springs and on Route 50 in Saratoga Springs will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.
The following pharmacies will be closed Thursday: Hannaford pharmacies on Broad Street in Glens Falls, on Quaker Road in Queensbury, in South Glens Falls and in Saratoga Springs; McCann's Pharmacy in Hudson Falls; Price Chopper (pharmacy only) on Upper Glen Street in Queensbury and in Wilton; Super Kmart pharmacy in Queensbury and Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Queensbury and in Wilton.
Post offices
There will be no regular mail delivery Thursday, but there will be Express Mail delivery.
Area post offices will be closed Thursday and open Friday.
Schools
Most area schools, including BOCES in Kingsbury and in Saratoga, will be closed Thursday and Friday and will reopen Monday.
Supermarkets
Most supermarkets will be open with normal hours Friday.
Grand Union Family Markets in Corinth and Warrensburg will be open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Bolton and Schroon Lake markets will be open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.
Hannaford Markets on Broad Street in Glens Falls, in Kingsbury, on Quaker Road in Queensbury, in South Glens Falls and on Weibel Avenue in Saratoga Springs will close at 3 p.m. Thursday and will reopen at 7 a.m. Friday.
Byron's Market in Schuylerville will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Lewis Market in Hudson Falls will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday. Jacob's & Toney in Warrensburg will be closed Thursday.
Price Chopper stores on Cooper Street in Glens Falls, in Lake George and at Railroad Place in Saratoga Springs will be closed Thursday. Price Chopper stores on Glen Street in Queensbury, in Granville, on Ballston Avenue in Saratoga Springs and the Wilton Mall will close at 3 p.m. Thursday and reopen at 7 a.m. Friday.
The Indian Lake Market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
Sokol's Market in Queensbury will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
Sorrentino's in South Glens Falls will be closed Thursday.
Transfer stations and landfills
Washington County transfer stations will be closed Thursday and Friday and will be open Saturday.
Queensbury transfer stations will be closed Thursday. The Luzerne Road facility in Queensbury will be open Friday and both Ridge Road and Luzerne Road will be open Saturday.
Transfer stations/landfills in Bolton, Chester, Minerva, Thurman and Warrensburg will be open Friday.
County Waste Thursday pickups will be done Saturday, and Friday's schedule will remain the same.
Springer Waste Management's Thursday pickups will be done Friday, and Friday pickups will be done Saturday.
