QUEENSBURY -- A sex offender from Oklahoma who moved to Warren County without properly registering has pleaded guilty to a felony charge.
Allen B. Clark, 44, pleaded guilty to a felony count of failure to register as a sex offender. Her likely faces a year in Warren County Jail when sentenced Nov. 25 by Warren County Judge John Hall.
He was arrested Aug. 17 after a dispute at a Woodard Street, Glens Falls home where he had been staying, officials said.
Police determined he was wanted in Oklahoma for providing false information to that state's sex offender registry.
Clark is a Level 3 sex offender, considered the highest risk for re-offending, but it was unclear what his underlying conviction was.
Oklahoma authorities could seek to have him extradited after he finishes serving his New York sentence.
