QUEENSBURY -- Two Queensbury teens have been arrested during an investigation of sexual assault allegations, the State Police public information website shows.
Alex J. Hart, 19, faces misdemeanor counts of sexual misconduct, endangering the welfare of a child and making a false written statement, according to the website.
He is accused of having impropert sexual contact with another person in connection with a report made to State Police on Saturday morning.
A 16-year-old young man was also charged with making a false written statement in the case. His name is being withheld because of his age.
Sexual misconduct charges are typically brought when someone under 21 has sex with a teen who is under 17, the state's age of consent for sexual contact.
Both teens were released pending prosecution in Queensbury Town Court.
