Family Movie Night -- The South Granville Congregational Church on Route 149 will hold a family movie night beginning with a pizza supper at 5:30 p.m. Friday. The movie "Water Horse" will begin at 7 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or sleeping bag. The event is a prelude to organizing a church youth group that is planning to meet twice a month on Sunday evenings. Everyone is welcome.

Making Ends Meet Workshop -- Cornell Cooperative Extension of Warren County will host a free "Making Ends Meet" workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at John Burke Apartments Community Room on Burke Drive.
Topics to be covered include: setting goals, tracking expenses, exploring options, reducing energy bills, community assistance programs and developing a spending plan. There will be refreshments and door prizes, and each participant will receive a free budgeting kit valued at $15.

Children's Consignment Sale -- The Katrina Trask Cooperative Nursery School will be holding its fall children's consignment sale from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and a half-price sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday. Items being sold include kids' fall and
winter clothes and accessories, toys, books, infant and baby gear, maternity wear and more. Proceeds benefit the school. Sales will be cash only.

Annual Harvest Supper -- The Old Saratoga Reformed Church will hold its annual harvest supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday.
The menu consists of Amish baked ham, mashed potatoes, squash, green beans, Dutch kraut, rolls, homemade pies and beverages.
Tickets are $9 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children ages 5 and under. Takeout is available.
