Medicare Advantage Plan Seminar -- The Glens Falls Senior Citizens Center, 380 Glen St., will host a Medicare Advantage Plan seminar at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Representatives of major health insurance companies will be on hand to explain the various plan changes. The new enrollment period runs from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31.

WIC Clinic -- Washington County WIC will hold a monthly clinic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Baptist Church on Quaker Street.
If unable to attend a clinic during these hours, call the main office at 746-2460 for a more convenient time and location.
QUEENSBURY
Spaghetti Dinner-- The Glens Falls Elks Lodge, 32 Cronin Road, will hold a free spaghetti and meatball dinner for all veterans and their families at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
SALEM
Free Ham Dinner -- The Auxiliary of Salem Post No. 812 American Legion will hold a free ham dinner for all veterans and guests at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the village community center on Main Street. Following dinner, veterans' concerns will be addressed.
The Post's Boys' State representatives will talk about their experiences at last year's convocation. All veterans are welcome.
Sky Awareness Meeting -- Due to public interest in military weather manipulation, there will be a follow-up sky awareness meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Historic Salem Courthouse on East Broadway. At the recent sky awareness presentation, Bonnie Hoag read from government documents and U.S. patents which describe the use of aerosols to affect the weather and satellites to manipulate the earth's atmosphere. Anyone who would like to read the documents prior to the meeting, is asked to contact Hoag at 854-7764 or bonne_fire@yahoo.com.
SARATOGA SPRINGS
Power of Attorney Law Program -- The Saratoga County Bar Association will offer an educational program explaining New York's Power of Attorney Law from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Glasby Room at Saratoga Springs Public Library, 49 Henry St. Speaker will be attorney Bonnie McGuire Jones, who recently taught a seminar about the new law to attorneys for the New York State Bar Association.
ESSEX COUNTY
Seasonal Flu Clinic -- The Essex County Public Health Department will offer a seasonal flu clinic from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Elizabethtown-Lewis Central School on Court Street in Elizabethtown. There are 500 doses available. The vaccine is being offered at no charge to anyone ages 6 months and older. Dress is short sleeves or a shirt that allows for easy access to the upper arm. H1N1 and pneumonia vaccines will not be available at this clinic.
