Celebrate Teen Excellence

The 2010 Teen Excellence Awards identifies those young persons who demonstrate individual growth, leadership development, and serve as exceptional role models in their communities and beyond.  Plus these individuals embody a significant level of innovation, leadership and achievement that goes beyond academics and athletics.

Awards breakfast celebrating the honorees will be held Tuesday, March 9th at the Queensbury Hotel. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served promptly at 8:00 a.m.

THE POST-STAR ANNOUNCES 2010 TEEN EXCELLENCE JUDGES PANEL
 Community Initiative Focuses on Youth Achievement, Personal Growth & Innovation

Glens Falls, New York - The Post-Star is pleased to announce the Judging Committee panel for the annual Teen Excellence Awards.  The Teen Excellence Awards looks to go beyond academics and athletics to identify outstanding young persons between the ages of 13 and 19, who have demonstrated personal growth, leadership and innovation along with a commitment to the community.  Teachers, coaches, youth group leaders, church leaders, educational administrators, and employers are encouraged to nominate teens who they believe are the young leaders of tomorrow and serve as exceptional role models in their schools, jobs, communities and beyond.   Nominations are now being accepted through December 10, 2009.
