Saratoga Springs, from the sky

It’s pretty rare that we get to see our surroundings from the sky, so I was pretty enamored when I found Post-Star photographer Erin Reid Coker’s shots from a plane ride he took around the region yesterday.

Coker got shots of the Saratoga Gaming & Raceway, the dredging project on the Hudson River, the Northway, the Adirondacks, several towns and villages in the area and the Luther Forest Technology Campus in Malta — shots that will no doubt appear online and in the print edition in the coming weeks and months (one was already on today’s front page).

My favorite, though, is of the Saratoga Race Course. In case there’s any confusion, that’s the main track to the left, and the Oklahoma Training Track on the right.
