The moose is back!
Remember that moose that showed up at the Saratoga Race Course in June? It came back.
This time, the four-legged creature was making its presence known in Queensbury and Glens Falls, where several people said they saw it rambling around earlier this week.
Today, the Department of Environmental Conservation reported that they captured the moose and are planning to relocate it to the High Peaks region in the Adirondacks.
A tag placed on the moose’s ear confirmed that it was the same animal that waltzed into Saratoga Springs last summer, a trip that culminated with DEC officers tranquilizing it in the backyard at the track.
