Johnsburg stays unbeaten
It took a goal by Emily Burns with 1:39 left in regulation, but Johnsburg eked out a 2-1 win over Lake George in Adirondack League action Friday.
That boosts the Jaguars to 2-0 in the league and 5-0 overall.
Some other Friday notes: *Kate Kuklinski had a solid two goals and one assist in helping Warrensburg to a 4-0 win over Corinth.
* Dani DeGregory went 4-1, including a penalty stroke, in Greenwich’s 6-0 win over Salem. She has eight goals in her last three games.
* Granville did a good job holding Hoosick Falls to just five shots, but the Panthers’ Samantha Skott found a way to knock one in.
* In a battle of the unbeatens, Shenendehowa topped Glens Falls 1-0 in two overtimes. Brittany Daniels made 13 stops for the Indians.
