Competition for Scirocco: Independence Party endorses DPW candidate
Edward G. Miller, an independent business owner and race horse trainer, was endorsed Wednesday by the Saratoga Springs Independence Committee, according to party chair Gordon Boyd.
Miller, who operated a food concession by the carousel in Congress Park in 2006 and 2007 and “Hot Dog Kings of Saratoga Springs” on Broadway in 2008, has been a thoroughbred race horse trainer since 1983, according to a statement issued Thursday.
Miller is a member of the Independence Party State Committee for the 110 Assembly District, and was active in support of Congressman Scott Murphy’s campaign.
