Dining with dogs
Sloppy Kisses in downtown Saratoga Springs is making it easier for pet lovers to enjoy an afternoon out with their dogs.
The dog-themed store has organized a series of “Yappy Hours” at the Backstretch Tap Room and Terrace, 38 Caroline St. in Saratoga Springs.
The Sunday events, held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., will allow dog owners to enjoy pub food from the restaurant while their dogs can snack on biscuits from Sloppy Kisses.
The events are free, but food must be purchased. All dogs must be leased and in control at all times.
Each “Yappy Hour” will have a special theme, and dogs and their owners dressed in party attire will have a chance to win a $25 Sloppy Kisses gift certificate.
The party schedule is as follows:
May 31: Beach Party
June 14: Famous Dog/Dog Owner Duos
June 28: Semi-Formal Attire
July 12: Christmas in July
July 26: Halloween in July
