Inauguration watch party planned
The Masie Center on Washington Street in Saratoga Springs will host a watch party during President-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration on Jan. 20.
Eliott Masie, who will be in Washington for the festivities, will provide live audio commentary from the steps of the U.S. Capitol.
The event was planned for area volunteers on the Obama campaign, but others are welcome, Masie said.
Space is limited, so people should reserve a seat in advance by e-mailing info@obamasaratoga.com
There is no admission charge, but people are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to charity.
