Argyle GOP activist helping boost Palin profile

Kelly Eustis of Argyle said he plans to travel to California this weekend to help with production of a television commercial praising Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

The commercial, being produced by the Our Country Deserves Better political action committee, is expected be begin airing nationally around Thanksgiving.
“Basically we feel that Sarah Palin has gotten a bad rap in the media and by a lot of other Republicans even. … So we feel that we should be supporting her and possibly her ambitions for 2012,” Eustis said in a telephone interview on Wednesday.

Eustis said Palin — John McCain’s running mate on Nov. 4 — could appeal to conservative and young voters.

The political action committee Eustis is working with is the same group he traveled with this fall on the “Stop Obama Tour.”

Eustis said the group is changing its approach.
“Definitely our organization is going to be changing its goals around a little bit more. So mostly it’s going to be a more positive political action committee. So mostly promoting Republican political candidates and especially Sarah Palin,” he said.

Well, you leeboat, definitely need a change of heart. Have you no clue that a majority of Republicans support Palin for president in 2012? Guess what? We will be here to take over once the messiah ruins himself in office.

I can’t stop laughing at the thought of Sarah Palin as President of the United States! She’s not smart enough to be our President, but it would be fun watching her debate Obama or even Clinton and getting a whoopin!. Anyone ignorant enough to think Palin would be a good change for our country surely lives on Mars.

No, she’s not some “plain Jane.” She is smart, and the people of Alaska have understood that. She’s not afraid to speak her mind (”Maverick”) and has common sense. Obama was largely a man who never took any leadership roles in his life and was able to become President on words like “hope.”

Though I’m sure Democrats are praying Palin gets the GOP nod in 2012, it would be terrible for the country. Her appeal to the cult of ignorance and mediocrity undermined our democracy. President of the United States is a tough job. I don’t want a person who brags about how ‘ordinary’ s/he is. A tough job requires someone with talent, open-mindedness and curiosity. The last eight years have shown how devastating it can be when your president doesn’t have those things.

    Keep it up!

Go Kelly Go! You’ve done more at the age of 21 than most people accomplish in their lives. Keep up that high energy and passion to fight for what you believe in. It makes America a better place for us all!
